Sustainable supply chains
“Sustainability is non-negotiable,” emphasizes our Managing Director Mirko Kauffeldt whenever he is asked why climate certificates are not a solution for REBER.
This means that not every supposedly environmentally friendly innovation fits in with our sustainability goals. At REBER, we focus on long-term perspectives and really sensible measures - especially when it comes to greener supply chains and processes. One of these interesting innovations for us is currently coming in the form of the new all-electric eActros 600 in the field of e-mobility.
Our fleet manager Robert Tietze, site manager Jan Hannamann, driver Sven Heidemann and managing director Mirko Kauffeldt visited the Daimler Truck plant in Wörth to find out about the possibilities of the eActros. Our long-standing sales consultant Jürgen Bernhard and Loris Eck, BIC consultant at Daimler Truck, were on hand to offer advice.
With its impressive range of 500 kilometers without recharging, the new truck has the potential to significantly reduce CO₂ emissions in the transport sector and is currently setting new standards in e-mobility. At REBER, we are now hoping for the rapid expansion of the charging infrastructure so that e-mobility can be integrated into our fleet as soon as possible.
