Foundation of a joint venture

REBER Logistik is further on growth course. Together with Spedition Spitzer, the company founds a joint venture: "Reber Spitzer Logistik GmbH & Co. KG" (RSL). On October 1, 2023, the new joint venture of the two furniture logistics companies is founded. With immediate effect, RSL is now the high-performance partner for the Europe-wide transport and logistics activities of the furniture manufacturer Martin Staud. 

Already in the past, both founding partners have taken over smaller partial tasks for Staud. Now this has turned into a partnership with a vision for the future. "With RSL, we have found a high-performance partner from the furniture forwarding sector, with whom we will jointly master the challenges of the future and secure growth options for ourselves," says Dirk Schmidtmeier, Managing Director of Martin Staud GmbH, with pleasure. The Baden-Württemberg-based bedroom furniture manufacturer also expects the merger to benefit the environment: "We can utilize vehicles and tours even better and optimize our CO₂ balance," the commercial managing director of Martin Staud GmbH, Wolfgang Schwägele.

Together, the partners have more than 1,000 swap bodies for delivering furniture of all kinds. The number of locations of the two companies grows to 13 with RSL in Bad Saulgau. REBER is proud of this business development and the expansion of the cooperation with Spedition Spitzer.
