Sustainability as a future driver in logistics

Sustainability is no longer a side issue, but an essential factor - especially in an industry such as logistics. Resource-conserving processes, alternative drives and conscious corporate management are crucial to meeting the ecological and economic challenges of our time in a sustainable manner.

With this in mind, REBER has been awarded the ROBIN GUT sustainability seal in gold. This certification, which is awarded in cooperation with the DGQA - Deutsche Gesellschaft für Qualitätsanalysen mbH, recognises companies that implement outstanding measures in the areas of the environment, social responsibility and sustainable corporate management. 

"We see sustainable management not only as a responsibility, but also as an opportunity to actively help shape the future," explains Mirko Kauffeldt. "This award confirms that our commitment to environmental and climate protection is recognised in the logistics industry - and at the same time shows us that we are on the right track." 

REBER relies on holistic concepts: 60,000 trees planted, 100% green electricity at all locations and the increased use of alternative drive systems are just some of the measures the company is taking to reduce its ecological footprint. REBER is also actively involved in species conservation with bee sponsorships and a large flowering meadow. 

For REBER Logistik, the ROBIN GUT sustainability seal is not only a recognition of its successes to date, but also a commitment for the future. "We will continue to work on driving forward sustainable innovations and setting new standards in the industry."
